Operating instructions
General operation
The operation of the website follows the usual web standards as far as possible. No atypical or complex operating concepts have been implemented. Separate instructions are not required to use the site.
Atypical operating instructions
Please note that room bookings are not made directly on this website, but via an external booking system.
External booking system (HotelNetSolutions – OPB6)
The booking is processed via the OPB6 system of the provider HotelNetSolutions GmbH.
According to the provider, the system is being actively developed with regard to accessibility – in connection with the Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG), which comes into force on June 28, 2025.
HotelNetSolutions has communicated the following accessibility measures:
- Keyboard operation: All functions and forms should be fully usable with the keyboard (e.g. tab control).
- Alternative texts for images: Graphic content is provided with meaningful alt texts so that it can also be understood by screen readers.
- Compatibility with screen readers: The software is prepared for barrier-free speech output.
- Contrast optimization: Design elements meet requirements for high and low contrast modes to remain legible even with visual impairments.
The provider emphasizes that the accessibility of its systems is continuously being improved.
HotelNetSolutions GmbH is responsible for the implementation.
Presentation and readability
The content automatically adapts to the screen size (responsive design). The font size can be changed using the standard functions of your browser (e.g. Ctrl + / Ctrl – or Cmd + / Cmd – on Mac).
The language of the website is correctly marked as German (lang=”de”). The reading order of the content has been structured in such a way that it is comprehensible for users of assistive technologies.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is not fully compliant with the requirements of the LBGG M-V and the BITVO M-V. Some of the content does not currently meet the requirements for accessible information technology in accordance with WCAG 2.1, conformity level AA.
The website has been completely redesigned. Accessibility adjustments are made on an ongoing basis as part of further technical developments.
In individual cases, after weighing up technical and economic aspects in accordance with Section 3 BITVO M-V, it was decided not to make certain content fully accessible, as this would involve disproportionate effort or could significantly impair functionality.
The technical implementation is carried out by Qbus Internetagentur on behalf of and in the interests of FH Rostocker Hotelbetriebs GmbH.
Non-accessible content

3. interactive content and layout
- Content that is displayed via mouseover cannot be closed by pressing ESC or clicking again.
- Slideshows/carousels cannot be paused or controlled via the keyboard.
- There are no equivalent alternatives to swipe gestures on mobile devices.
- Layout problems may occur with a high browser zoom (>200 %).
4th tables
- Tables are not always semantically correctly labeled (missing <th>, missing relationships).
- Some content is not fully visible at 320 px width.
5. forms

Content in plain language and sign language
Texts in easy-to-read language and an explanatory video in German Sign Language (DGS) are not yet available on this website.
The provision of this additional accessible content is planned and will be delivered at a later date.
The aim is to make the key information about the website and the company’s offering accessible in these accessible formats.
Corrective measures
The website will be gradually optimized in terms of accessibility. Adjustments are made in the course of technical development and depending on the relationship between cost and benefit. In certain places, complete implementation has been deliberately avoided if this would be disproportionate.
Use of Matterport 3D tours
On this website, virtual 3D tours are integrated via the Matterport platform. This application allows users to move visually through selected rooms and areas of the hotels.
Please note:
- The presentation is based on a graphic 3D model that is not barrier-free in the sense of the applicable legal standards (e.g. WCAG 2.1, BITV 2.0).
- Keyboard operation, screen reader compatibility and text alternatives to visual content are currently not fully implemented in Matterport.
- An alternative accessible description of the content shown (e.g. room structure, furnishings) is available on request.
The Matterport application is a third-party tool. The responsibility for its accessible design lies with Matterport Inc. and the provider itself states the following: https://matterport.com/de/accessibility
We are working to provide additional information on the areas shown in accessible text form, insofar as this is possible with reasonable effort.
